A unique aspect of St Benedict School is our annual Unity Day. On Unity Day a large part of the day is set aside to foster relationships between the High School and Primary School learners and the staff. This year the school has adopted the theme of “The Year of the Family” and Unity Day incorporated this by taking a closer look at the important values which bind our families together. The day started and ended with a service in the Chapel Garden and in between there was lots of time for fun and getting to know one another a little better, truly cementing the family atmosphere which exists in the school.
Each High School class was assigned a Primary School class for the day and planned a series of fun, interactive games and activities which the older learners did together with the younger ones. These activities included everything from musical statues, face painting and water games to rounders, obstacle courses and much more. The day was a huge success.
