St Benedict School in Pinetown celebrated today with the announcement of the Matric Class of 2017’s results. Shimon Corcos was placed in the top 140 in the country’s IEB examinations with an average of 90% and 7 out of 7 A symbols.  Mwezi Londa also achieved a full house of 7 out of 7 A symbols and an average of 89%. Dr Barbara Bowley, Principal of the school and Mr Sean Topper, Head of the High School, were both delighted with the results of all the students with over 50% of the subject results being either an A or B symbol. “Hard work and commitment from both the pupils and the staff has paid off and the results are a good platform for the students to launch into careers from here. Solid foundations have been laid at the school and we are extremely proud of all our students”.
